Standard ISO 9001 : 2015
Systemic quality management in the Agency for Food and Veterinary Medicine of the Republic of North Macedonia is a strategic determination of the Agency, which in the past four years has contributed to improving the efficiency and effectiveness of operations in order to meet the needs and expectations of business operators and citizens. , who are users of our services.
After the implementation of ISO 9001:2015, the benefits of the introduction of the ISO standard in the operation are of great importance for the Agency, because it contributed to the institution gaining added value in terms of the quality of the services it offers.
In 2017, the focus was also on the transition of the AHV Quality System, and its alignment with the requirements of the new standard ISO 9001: 2015, in order to establish process management through established risks. In 2018, the Food and Veterinary Agency became the first state institution to receive the ISO 9001:2015 quality certificate.
After the introduction of the ISO 9001:2015 standard in its operations, the Food and Veterinary Agency should strengthen its reputation even more as an institution that guarantees safe and quality food for humans, safe food for animals, that quality services are received and that it takes care of health protection and animal welfare.
