Privacy policy

On this page we document all the information about our use and processing of your personal data in the process of carrying out our tasks, in accordance with the legal authorizations when visiting our website, using some of our services or sending a message to us when using on our contact forms.

 

The controller of the personal data is the Agency for Food and Veterinary Medicine (hereinafter: FVA), with headquarters at 3rd Macedonian Brigade Street, 20, 1000 Skopje, Republic of North Macedonia.

Personal data is collected, used and processed exclusively in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Personal Data Protection.

We may collect, use and process data related to the following categories of persons who are visitors to our website:

  • Requesters and providers of information regarding submission of requests and/or various other messages through the contact forms. These requests/messages optionally contain information about the identity of the sender. This data has a limited scope, usually name, surname and contact data, which are closely related to the request or delivery of information.
  • Visitors to our website www.fva.gov.mk. We process data about visiting parties, which are used to analyze the traffic to our website as well as its usability. We also process share-type data in order to implement the information security of our website and protect against unauthorized intrusions and/or attacks.   • Persons who, based on the Law on Free Access to Public Information, request access to it. In order to gain access to the information, requesters are required to provide information about the identity of the sender and the nature/need of the request itself. These data have a limited scope, common name, surname and contact data, which are closely related to the request itself and are used in accordance with the Law on Free Access to Public Information.

1. What data is recorded during a visit

During a visit to our websites, the platform records the following information for each user:

  • The time of the visit
  • The page that is being visited and the sub-options at that
  • The page from which the visit was referred and in some cases the keywords used in the same referral
  • The operating system used and the screen resolution setting
  • The type of search engine and its version
  • The language used on the search engine
  • The Internet (IP) address from which it is accessed
  • The type of device accessed from

All records (logs) rotate and are deleted every 15 days, except for the study of a security or user problem, when some of them may be analyzed longer.

 

2. Confirmed permission to use and voluntarily submitted personal data

With your confirmation and granting of permission or voluntary submission of personal data for further use and processing when performing appropriate actions in accordance with legal regulations, when delivering information or requesting any administrative service from FVA.

We collect, use and process personal data from the following categories: personal name and surname, your address and/or contact numbers, fax, e-mail, stamp and/or signature.

We may collect your personal data in several ways:

  • When you give us information verbally on our landline or mobile phones;
  • When you fax us a document directly to our phones;
  • When you send us direct mail through the postal service;
  • When you send us a message directly to our Emails;
  • While using our websites, applications or contact forms;

When you submit a request or information through direct communication with us, the responsible person on our side prepares a record that you sign mutually and then it is filed in the FVA archive.

Only our employees who are responsible for the tasks in question related to the activities surrounding the processing and use of personal data will have access to them.

We do not use an external system (Google analytics or Facebook pixel and similar) for analysis and statistics of our visits and we do not share data about you or your visit to our websites with anyone, except at the request of a court, police or other authorities for the exercise of legal actions.

All data that we collect, use and process are used in a period exclusively in accordance with the law and only for the purpose of use and are highlighted in the list of terms for keeping personal data of FVA.

You have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

  • You have the right and are informed about the collection, use and processing of your personal data
  • You have the right to restrict our collection, use and processing of your personal data
  • You have the right to change and partially or completely delete your personal data
  • You have the right to access your collected, used and processed personal data
  • You have the right to lodge an objection regarding our collection, use and processing of your personal data to the FVA or to the AZLP ( Agency for the Protection of Personal Data)

If, however, you think that during the collection, use and processing of your personal data, FVA violates your rights or the provisions of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data, you can submit an objection or request to the Agency for the Protection of Personal Data www.dzlp.mk, which is a supervisory body and will be acted upon, in accordance with Article 97 of the Law on Personal Data Protection.
